RIDE / Azuer

Terms of service

Effective date: October 18, 2026

1. AGREEMENT

These Terms govern your download, purchase, and use of the RIDE Android phone and Wear OS applications (together, RIDE). By using RIDE, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use RIDE. Google Play's terms also apply to downloads and purchases made through Google Play.

2. WHO MAY USE RIDE

The first RIDE closed beta is for invited testers in the United States aged 18 or older. You may use RIDE only if you can legally agree to these Terms and may lawfully operate the motorcycle and device involved. Do not use RIDE where its use, mounting, recording, or a requested route would be unlawful.

3. LICENSE AND THE FULL-VERSION PURCHASE

RIDE is licensed, not sold. Subject to these Terms, Azuer gives you a limited right to use RIDE for personal use on compatible devices obtained through an authorized distribution channel. You may not resell RIDE, bypass its purchase or safety controls, or use it to interfere with RIDE, its providers, or another person's device or data. This does not restrict rights that applicable law does not allow Azuer to restrict.

RIDE is offered as a one-time full-version unlock through Google Play. The price and included features shown in the Google Play purchase screen control at the time of purchase. Google Play processes the transaction; RIDE does not receive payment-card details. Restoring an entitlement may require the Google Play account used for the purchase and a connection to Google Play. Refunds and purchase reversals are handled under applicable law, Google Play's policies, and any published Azuer refund policy. The free allowance is 250 successfully delivered new route plans per calendar month.

During the invited closed beta, route planning is unlimited and no full-version unlock purchase is required. This exception applies only to the closed-beta build and does not grant a full-version entitlement in public builds.

4. MOTORCYCLE SAFETY AND LAWFUL USE

Motorcycling can cause serious injury or death. RIDE cannot make riding safe and is not a substitute for training, judgment, protective equipment, motorcycle maintenance, or compliance with the law.

  • Set up the phone, route, dashboard, permissions, and controls while parked.
  • Mount devices securely and do not let one obstruct controls, instruments, vision, or safe riding.
  • Do not type, edit layouts, browse settings, or perform another distracting interaction while riding. Use only glanceable or lawful hands-free controls when conditions permit.
  • Follow traffic laws, signs, closures, road conditions, weather, instructions from police, emergency services, and the motorcycle or device manufacturer over anything RIDE displays.
  • Stop using RIDE if the app, device, mount, heat, battery, connectivity, or an inaccurate output could create a hazard.

CLOSED-COURSE PERFORMANCE FEATURES

Acceleration timing, launch, rolling-range, wheelie, and other performance features are for a lawfully operated closed course with permission and suitable safety controls. Do not use them to time, encourage, or document speeding, racing, stunts, or unlawful riding on public roads. An in-app arming, park, or closed-course check does not prove that a place, rider, motorcycle, or act is safe or legal.

5. ESTIMATES, NAVIGATION, AND NO EMERGENCY USE

RIDE uses consumer-device sensors, GPS, calculations, and third-party information. Speed, distance, lean, pitch, wheelie, acceleration, performance timing, weather, traffic-related context, routes, and arrival information are estimates. They can be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or wrong. RIDE may withhold a value when a quality check fails, but displaying a value does not make it a certified measurement or guarantee its accuracy.

A suggested route may be illegal, closed, unpaved, unsafe, unsuitable for a motorcycle, or affected by hazards that RIDE does not know about. Inspect the route and use real-world judgment. RIDE is not an emergency, rescue, crash-detection, medical, insurance, law-enforcement, or certified vehicle-instrument service. Do not rely on it to contact help, detect a crash, prove how an incident happened, or make a medical or legal decision.

6. YOUR RECORDINGS AND EXPORTS

You decide whether to record, keep, delete, export, or share a ride or diagnostic file. You retain whatever rights you have in content you create. RIDE does not need a license to upload your ride history because RIDE has no ride-history cloud service.

Protect exported files: a ride or diagnostic export can reveal locations, routes, times, motion, or health information. Once you send a file to another app or person, their handling of it is outside RIDE's control. Do not record or share another person's personal information without the permission and legal basis you need.

7. PRIVACY POLICY

RIDE's Privacy Policy explains what the app processes, what remains on your devices, what is sent to map, routing, weather, Google Play, or other services, and the deletion controls available to you. The Privacy Policy is part of these Terms.

8. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND OPEN-SOURCE SOFTWARE

RIDE depends on Android, Google Play, Stadia Maps, map and routing data, weather, media, speech, and optional external navigation services. A provider may change, limit, charge for, interrupt, or discontinue its service independently of RIDE. Its own terms and privacy policy apply when you use it. RIDE does not guarantee third-party availability, coverage, route suitability, forecast accuracy, or content. Open-source components remain governed by their own licenses in RIDE's legal center.

When weather is enabled, RIDE's weather service is hosted on Cloudflare and relays requests to paid Open-Meteo Standard. Weather-tab requests use up to four coordinates rounded to two decimal places; rain-avoidance requests use up to twelve per request and may require multiple requests. The service can receive request IP information and forecast parameters and can keep a limited in-memory cache. RIDE's latest device forecast cache can remain after it becomes 30 minutes stale; staleness is not deletion.

9. OWNERSHIP AND FEEDBACK

RIDE and its original software, design, and branding belong to Azuer or its licensors, subject to the open-source licenses identified in the app. If you voluntarily send feedback, Azuer may use it to improve RIDE without an obligation to pay you. This does not transfer ownership of your ride data or exported files.

10. UPDATES, COMPATIBILITY, AND AVAILABILITY

RIDE may need updates to remain compatible with Android, Wear OS, Google Play, devices, providers, or safety and policy requirements. Features may differ by device, permission, region, purchase status, sensor quality, provider availability, or network access. Azuer does not promise that every feature will always be available or that RIDE will work with every device or mount.

11. WARRANTY DISCLAIMER

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RIDE is provided as is and as available. Azuer does not promise that RIDE will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate, or that a route, measurement, warning, or safety control will prevent harm. Nothing here excludes any warranty, remedy, or consumer right that applicable law says cannot be excluded.

12. LIMITS OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Azuer is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable from a breach of these Terms or for losses caused by unlawful or unsafe use, ignored real-world conditions, a third-party service, a device or mount failure, or an export after it leaves RIDE. Nothing here limits liability where applicable law does not allow a limit.

13. ENDING USE

You may stop using RIDE and uninstall it at any time. Azuer may suspend access when required by law, platform policy, security, or a material breach of these Terms, subject to applicable consumer rights and Google Play's purchase rules.

14. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

The published Terms will show an effective date. Material changes should be disclosed in a manner appropriate to their effect before they apply.

15. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES

Any dispute is subject to the laws and legal procedures that apply to you and Azuer. Nothing in these Terms removes rights you have under applicable consumer law.
